Everyone here from the front desk to the doctor was very kind and caring. My dog is older, they were gentle and patient with him. He was also bleeding all over the room and I was pretty panicked. They were so compassionate about it, and did not treat us like it was a burden at all, they even blocked off time to get him right into surgery. Although we have never been there, they genuinely wanted to help him. He came out cleaned up, smiling, and looked very well taken care of. We will definitely return.

Dr.Lucus is a great vet. He is very thorough, and answers any questions you have. The grooming is excellent as well. Its nice to have a one stop shop for both care and grooming. The groomer always does great and makes sure she knows what you want each time.

I started taking my dogs to Animal Talk as the rescue they came from partners with them and they already knew my dogs. It’s a drive for us in emergencies as we are in St. Charles but it is so worth it. Pricing is justifiable and they always give you a quote of what to expect. This vet has seen my dogs at all aspects. Sick, emergencies, IVDD and chiropractor visits, and through death. They are always helpful, make time for pets to be seen when emergencies happen, and were very thoughtful and caring when we dealt with the death of our 16 year old lab last month. Our chiweenie was sick today and they allowed her to stay to be monitored as I was nervous to leave her home while I was at work. Deja, Boujee, and Bosley (😇) thank the vets, vet techs, and other staff for all they’ve done for them.

My only complaint is that I wish I had found this place sooner. Dr. Lucas truly cares about his patients, and it shows. The chiropractor is also amazing. His prices are very reasonable, and they never try to upsell you every time you come in. Dr. Lucas is the gold standard of what animal care should be.
